Victor J Sefo lights it up with 'La'u Honey'
Victor J Sefo nabs his sixth Aotearoa Hot Chart #1, with ‘La’u Honey’ feat. Puni and Mr Tee. Mitch James was previously the only male solo artist to top the Chart as many times. Leon Thomas leads the Hot 40 for the first time, with his ‘MUTT’ remix (feat. Chris Brown).
Alex Warren claims his first #1 on the Top 40 Singles Chart, with ‘Ordinary’ – the track finally climbs to the top spot after seven weeks in the Chart. The Hype House alumn is due to play two sold shows in Aoteraoa in August.
Te Matatini and Te Kuru Marutea hold the #1 spot on both the Aotearoa Top 20 Singles Chart and Tukutahi Te Reo Māori Tiketike 10 for a second week, with ‘Kei Wareware i a Tātou’. The huge tune is one of many to feature on the four-album release of waiata from the 2025 event.
The Six60 Collection clocks up its 34th week at #1 on the Aotearoa Top 20. Only four albums have spent longer at #1, with three of those also being Six60 titles. The other is Sol3 Mio’s self-titled 2013 debut.
